Bujihe has experienced rapide urbanization in the past decades. Sharply LULC changes have caused significant hydrological changes, particularly floods. Bujihe catchment is in Shenzhen city where started China’s earlist reform and opening from 1978, with its develompent a miniature of China’s development. It is the ideal pilot for studying the impact of urbanization on flooding. A hydrological network including rainfall and water level has been opertion for a few years, and river flow observation will be added from next year.
